The competence "Radiation Control" is aimed at creating a professional growth environment in which participants demonstrate and improve their skills in conducting dosimetric and radiometric measurements of various types of ionizing radiation, conducting radiation monitoring and processing measurement results. To achieve high results in the championship, it is necessary to know the regulatory framework in the field of radiation safety, be able to correctly choose and use personal protective equipment in conditions of radiation danger, quickly master and apply measurement methods, and learn new radiation and dosimetric monitoring devices. The competence has been included in the AtomSkills Championship since 2017.
Work on the competence is individual.
The contest task is completed by the participant and the score is given to the participant.

Evaluation The minimum number of experts in the evaluation group is 4 people. A measurable rating is given by 3 experts who are not mentors in relation to the participant. Expert # 4 is required to replace the mentor expert in case of evaluation of its participant.
Experts are specialists with practical experience in the field of radiation safety and radiation monitoring. Experts are trained in verification methods and tools. The results are evaluated by experts at the end of each competition day. .
Each specialist is tested for the level of proficiency in two groups of knowledge and skills
