Quality management

R94 competence

The competence "Quality Management" is a type of professional activity of specialists in quality assurance and control in divisions and organizations of the nuclear industry.
Competence specialists demonstrate skills and competencies in the field of implementing management systems, developing and analyzing quality documents, including those aimed at improving the functioning of management systems in the organization, conducting equipment conformity assessment in the forms provided for by the FNP in the field of nuclear energy use, input control of equipment/materials, as well as managing nonconformities and conducting a review/investigation of nonconformities.

Competence-based work is a team effort.
The contest task is performed by the team and the score is given to the team.

The competence includes two types of tasks: individual tasks for each participant; team tasks performed by both participants together.

    A quality assurance specialist knows the requirements of international standards for management systems, has experience in developing quality assurance documents, conducting audits, and dealing with nonconformities using the 8D methodology
  2. Participant 2
    The technical quality control specialist knows the requirements of the FNP in the field of nuclear energy use, has experience in conducting conformity assessment, input control using measuring instruments and working with nonconformities according to the 8D methodology

Each specialist is tested for the level of proficiency in two groups of knowledge and skills

Knowledge and skill groups

Professional skills of a specialist in the field of OK

  • Knowledge of the requirements of the NPA of the Russian Federation, FNP, LNA of Rosatom State Corporation in the field of quality and in nuclear power plants
  • Knowledge of the requirements of national and international standards on management systems
  • Defining the purpose and objectives of the audit, drawing up an audit plan, conducting an audit
  • Request, review, study, and analysis of various types of documents during an audit
  • Verification of the implementation and evaluation of the effectiveness of the POK of an organization operating in a nuclear power plant

Professional skills of a QC specialist

  • Knowledge of the requirements of the NPA of the Russian Federation, FNP and LNA of Rosatom State Corporation in the field of quality and in nuclear power plants, including GOST standards for the corresponding types of products
  • Knowledge of the procedure for conducting input control, VIC methods, application of SI and IO, recording VIC results
  • Verification of accompanying documents
  • Understanding design documentation

Ad platform rules

  1. Participants work on the Site according to the schedule with breaks for rest and meals
  2. Working hours are tracked by a timer that is visible from each workplace on the site.
  3. There should be no foreign objects on the participant's desk: phones, flash drives, personal notebooks, headphones, cases, bags, etc.
  4. The following items are allowed on the participant's desk: fountain pen, pencil, paper, medicine, water, tea / coffee, snack
  5. Participants and experts perform the prescribed team activities

Site operation plan

  • The site's work plan is published, indicating the time of tasks and breaks.
  • The plan contains all the important information for Experts and Participants

Participant's workplace

  • Each Participant's workplace is equipped with a personal computer
  • Each Participant is given a notebook for writing, fountain pens and pencils
  • Each participant is provided with access to the Internet, databases of ND, SI, PPE to complete competitive tasks.
  • Jobs are distributed among the Participants by drawing lots (taking into account: the location of two participants from the same team next to each other and the exclusion of teams from the same division next to each other)

STRICTLY PROHIBITED BY THE RULES

  1. Participants ' conversations with a fellow Expert of their division during the performance of competitive tasks
  2. Loud conversations/ arguments of Experts among themselves/with the audience/with Participants on the competition site. Inappropriate behavior of Experts and / or Participants and violations of the "Code of Ethics of the Championship"
  3. Movement of Participants around the site during a task without the permission of the Chief Expert or Deputy Chief Expert
  4. OT and TB violations on the competition site, including being on the site in a state of alcoholic (narcotic) or other type of intoxication or with signs of such intoxication
  5. Use of materials and equipment on the site, other than those specified in the tender offer.
  6. Recording/photo / video recording of tasks and criteria, meetings of Experts involved in the evaluation of completed tasks
  7. Experts and/or Participants who arrive more than 10 minutes late to the site from the time specified in the site's work plan
  8. Absence from the competition site without the permission of the Chief Expert or Deputy Chief Expert during the competition days
