Rosatom Corporate Academy and the Union of Employers of Nuclear Industry, Energy and Science of Russia signed an agreement on June 19, 2023 on the recognition of qualification requirements, expert community, assessment tools, procedures and evaluation criteria of the VIII Rosatom Industry Professional Skills Championship AtomSkills-2023 as a practical part of the independent qualifications assessment in the "Engineering Design" competence.
The All-Russian Industry Association of Employers "Union of Employers of Nuclear Industry, Energy and Science of Russia" is the base organization of the Council for Professional Qualifications in Nuclear Energy.
"The signed agreement will allow our AtomSkills championship participants to receive a State Qualification Certificate to confirm their level of qualification. For the employer, this certificate will indicate the employee's compliance with the requirements of professional standards, confirmed at the federal level, - comments Inna Kokorina, Deputy Director General of the Union of Employers of Nuclear Industry, Energy and Science of Russia, - To date, this is our first experience of pairing two assessment procedures – AtomSkills and Independent Qualification Assessment. We hope this experience will be successful. The results will be clear soon, on June 21".
On June 21, 2023, the results of the AtomSkills-2023 championship will be summed up, winners will be awarded. The agreement signed by the parties makes it possible, in accordance with the Federal Law "On Independent Qualification Assessment", to recognize the results of industry competitions and professional skill championships WorldSkills and AtomSkills as a practical part of the independent qualification assessment of a specialist in the "Engineering Design" competence.
