The Welding Technologies competence is one of the key competencies of the AtomSkills championship and has been included in the championship since 2016. It aims to create a professional growth environment in which participants demonstrate and improve their skills. Welding is an integral and highly responsible part of manufacturing equipment for nuclear power plants and their construction. The transition to breakthrough technology of automatic welding allows you to radically reduce the time of welding operations, increase the reliability of nuclear power plants. Welding Technologies is constantly developing and is under the control of national and international associations.
Work on the competence is individual.
The contest task is performed individually and the score is given to the participant.

The format of participation in the competence "Welding technologies" is individual, the age of participants is 18+. The contest task is completed by the participant, then the evaluation is made by experts
The minimum number of experts in the evaluation group is 3 people. A measurable and judicial assessment is made by 3 experts who are not expert mentors in relation to the participant. Expert # 4 is required to replace a fellow citizen in case of evaluation of its participant
