The "Engineer-technologist of mechanical engineering" competence is aimed at creating a professional growth environment in which participants demonstrate and improve their skills in the technological preparation of production at machine-building enterprises.
The developed solutions should ensure the production of products of the required quality with a minimum cost and be relevant for the current level of development of machine-building production. The issued documentation must comply with the current version of the AETD and

The format of participation in the competence "Engineer-technologist of Mechanical engineering" is individual.
The contest task is completed by the participant, then the rating is set by experts.

Number of experts in the evaluation group 4 people A measurable and judicial assessment is made by 3 experts who are not compatriots in relation to the participant who completed the work.
Expert #4 replaces one of the experts in the case of evaluating the work of participants for whom one of the other experts of the evaluation group is a co-patriot.

Completing and evaluating a task

Participants independently complete the tasks of each competitive module:

Experts are trained in verification methods and tools.
Evaluation of the results is carried out by experts on the next competition day after completing the task module (tasks performed on the fourth competition day are checked immediately after completion by participants).

Composition of the competition task

The competition task consists of six modules, four of which are independent of each other and two modules that provide for interrelated execution.

  • Module A.
    Development of a 3D model of a part in the middle of the tolerance fields according to the issued drawing in the Compass 3D CAD system
  • Module B.
    Development of the technological process of assembly per assembly unit.
  • Module C.
    Development of the technological process of manufacturing a part.
  • Module D.
    Development of a control program for CNC machines in the SprutCAM software system. Development of the setup map.
    Note: Modules C and D are interrelated.
  • Module E.
    Design of the product manufacturing workshop
  • Module F.
    Analysis of the workability of the part.

Checking the level

Each specialist is tested for the level of proficiency in two groups of knowledge and skills:

Knowledge and skill groups

  • Read drawings, diagrams, and graphs.
  • Develop graphic documents and 3D models in the Kompas3D CAD system
  • Develop technological processes for manufacturing parts and assembly units.
  • Make out the issued technological documentation in accordance with the AETD and ESCD.
  • Develop machining projects for CNC machines in the SprutCAM software system.

General professional skills that are universal for the team

  • Use reference and regulatory documentation
  • Use commonly used office programs for your PC.
  • Perform technical calculations based on source data in accordance with developed programs and techniques or standard calculations.

Evaluating skills

Skills are evaluated through the quality and effectiveness of work actions.

Labor action groups

Measurable evaluation criteria are used to assess the quality of the task: the completed work meets the requirements of the CD, the requirements of the technical task are taken into account, and the work is designed in accordance with the AETD and ESCD.
To assess the completeness of the work performed and the possibility of using it in real production conditions, judges ' ratings are used.


Ad platform rules

  1. Work on the site – both Participants and Experts, is carried out strictly according to the work plan on the site
  2. Working hours are tracked by a timer located in the field of view of all participants.
  3. There should be no foreign objects on the participant's desk: flash drives, notebooks, headphones, smart watches, cases, bags, etc.
  4. The following items are allowed on the participant's table: a fountain pen, pencil, paper, medicines, and eating at lunchtime.

Rules of communication on the site

On the championship site
  • During the preparation process the participant interacts with their own expert companion
  • During the task, the participant raises his hand in case of a question, and 3 non-patriot experts approach him.
  • During the competition day, participants are not allowed to communicate with fellow experts when completing tasks.

  1. During the competition days from C1 to C4, bring to the workplace and/or remove from the workplace any information in electronic, printed or handwritten form

  3. Perform attempts and / or data transfers from on-site and off-site workstations by any means other than those permitted by the Contest Task
