About the competence
Competence "Communication management. Anti-crisis Response" combines the key professional skills of a modern communications specialist in the framework of the industry process "Mass and internal communications Management". The competence is focused on creating an environment for professional growth in which participants demonstrate and improve their skills and which contributes to the generalization and development of communication experience in accordance with the challenges of the time to pass on to their colleagues. It was first tested at the AtomSkills 2024 championship. In 2025, it is included in the official circle of the championship.

Areas of activity of a communications specialist
The main task of a communications specialist is to create a positive image of the campaign, increase awareness and develop the employer's brand, and protect its reputation. The classic set of responsibilities includes monitoring the information agenda, finding information occasions and promoting content, organizing and maintaining activities and communication projects, interacting with the media and preparing content, and collecting analytics. Anti-crisis response is a set of measures aimed at minimizing reputational risks in the event of accidents and emergencies at nuclear facilities, as well as in the event of destructive campaigns in the information field.

The contest task is partially secret.
The open part (task structure) is issued 1 month before the Final stage. Secret part (topics and introductions) - issued to participants 15 minutes before the corresponding module.

Each specialist is tested for the level of proficiency in two groups of knowledge and skills

Professional skills of the participant

  • Explain in simple language the specifics of the technological process at a particular enterprise, including the principles of operation of a nuclear reactor
  • Ensure presence in the information field in case of emergencies at nuclear facilities in conditions of information shortage
  • Build relationships with all communication channels and target audiences
  • Possess up-to-date tools and technologies for working in the information field
  • Conduct monitoring, identify risks, develop strategies, projects, and plans, and create various types of content.

Skills are evaluated through the quality and effectiveness of work actions.
